Final Schedule Checkup

FOR YOUR INFORMATION...
====================================

This is the perfect time of year to make a final schedule check -- to see if you and your class will finish studying the entire Book of Mormon.

If you find that you have more lessons remaining than teaching days, I recommend that you make a course correction now. Decide which lessons you will shorten, combine, or (if necessary) delete.

I think it is important for students to reach the end of the Book of Mormon, the Teacher and Student Manuals, and the end of the Seminary year all at the same time -- even if you, as the teacher, have to crunch or skip in order to help them get there.

Ending the Seminary year at the end of the assigned book of scripture each year helps give both students and teachers a necessary sense of closure and confidence.

Best wishes,

Ken
