[Seminary-Notes]
====================================
FOR YOUR INFORMATION...
====================================
At the end of each exercise or mission, U.S. Army units
conduct what is called an After Action Review (AAR).
The purpose of an AAR is to evaluate what went right,
what could have gone better, and (hopefully) why.
An AAR focuses on strengthening success and finding
solutions for identified weaknesses.
As you end this Seminary year, you may wish to set
aside an hour and conduct a personal and prayerful
New Testament Seminary After Action Review.
Here are some of the questions you may wish to ask
yourself during your Seminary AAR:
* What went well this year?
* What could have been improved?
* If I was given another chance at teaching
this year, what would I change? Why?
* What do I wish I had done last summer to help
prepare for teaching the New Testament?
* How were my relationships with my students,
their parents, my CES and church leaders?
* What were the "best" lessons I taught this
year? What made them so?
* How well did my students learn the scripture
mastery scriptures, the major principles of
the New Testament?
* Are my students more Christlike now than
they were last fall?
Then... with prayerful consideration you may wish
to think about what you can do this summer to help
you work on any areas where you would like to improve
next year.
Best wishes,
Ken
